The first GB Under 18 selection camps were held at the Leicester Sports Arena last weekend.
And, after an outstanding two days of training and team building, British Basketball announced the list of candidates selected by the coaching staff for the FIBA U18 European Championship Division B 2017.
British Basketball Chief Executive, Lisa Wainwright, commented "I was at the GB U18 camp this past weekend and was very impressed with the attitude and work ethic of our tremendous athletes, and the dedication and professionalism of the coaching and support staff.
"Obviously, with a selection process there is always elation and disappointment, but all players need to know that just making it to that camp is a high honour.
"To those selected, congratulations, you are one step closer to representing Great Britain. To those not selected, keep working hard and take advantage of any other opportunity to learn and develop. Lastly, thanks to Basketball England and Leicester Sports Arena for all the hard work in setting up the camp. Good luck to everyone for the next stage."
