BBL All-Star Five – Week 7

Posted on BBL Media

Two of this week’s line-up are the first to amass three appearances this season, while there are also a couple of debutantes.

Fab Flournoy (Esh Group Eagles Newcastle)
Our first debutante is the Eagles and BBL legend who lands his first berth of the campaign after guiding his side into the last four of the BBL Cup. Flournoy was perfect from the field against Cheshire Phoenix and impressed with 11 points, as well as adding five rebounds, four assists and two blocked shots in a typically all-action effort from the player-coach.

Drew Sullivan (Leicester Riders)
The former Great Britain star secures his third appearance of the campaign after helping Leicester Riders to cut down Bristol Flyers and keep the BBL Championship leaders unbeaten and in pole position. Sullivan posted a smart 16 points from 60% floor shooting, while also harvesting five rebounds and three assists.

Kai Williams (London Lions)
It’s a first appearance of the season for the Lions’ forward after he caught the eye in a BBL Championship success at the Copper Box against Surrey Scorchers. Williams was on fire with a classy 22-point haul that included a trio of scores from behind the three-point line. He also garnered seven rebounds, three assists and a steal.

Orlan Jackman (Esh Group Eagles Newcastle)
The forward was in top-form for the Eagles as he kept the locals happy at Sport Central with a super performance in the BBL Cup Quarter-Final against Cheshire. Jackman features for a second time in our line-up after a jaw-dropping 90% shooting effort which returned 26 points. He also registered seven boards, two assists and two steals.

Rashad Hassan (London Lions)
It's fitting that having received his Molten BBL player of the Month accolade, the forward went on to showcase his skills yet again with the best performance of the week just hours later. Hassan helped Lions to sink Scorchers with a brilliant double-double of 23 points which were corralled from 10 of 13 from the floor and 13 rebounds.

Off the bench – Earl Brown (Cheshire Phoenix), Tayo Ogedengbe (Surrey Scorchers), Cory Dixon (Plymouth Raiders), Jamal Williams (London Lions), Pierre Hampton (Leicester Riders), Alex Owumi (London Lions), Gareth Murray (Glasgow Rocks), Raheem May-Thompson (Cheshire Phoenix).
