Eagles erupt on the road at Force on opening night to claim record win.

Leeds Force 60-148 Esh Group Eagles Newcastle (15-30, 26-69, 41-109)

Esh Group Eagles Newcastle sent out a statement with an emphatic record-breaking win to open the season away at Leeds Force.

Fab Flournoy's side surpassed the previous records for largest winning margin (72) and most points in a game (145) in a dominant start.

Turning Point – Force led 7-4 early on, but Saah Nimley netted back-to-back triples as part of a 14-2 burst and the Eagles never looked back - racking up an incredible 79 points in the middle periods to storm clear.

Key Stat – Leeds coughed up 32 turnovers during the contest, which resulted in 56 points for the Eagles, who also handed out 34 assists as a team.

Game Hero(es) – Nimley made an instant impact with 19 points in the first half, while his back-court partner in crime took over in the third with Jaysean Paige netting a game-high 30 on 81% shooting.
