Rocks find their range to shoot down Wolves

Worcester Wolves 76-82 Glasgow Rocks (8-16, 35-30, 55-59)

Glasgow Rocks produced a scintillating shooting display from downtown to outlast Worcester Wolves on their travels and collect a precious BBL Championship success.

Having lost to Wolves at home in the BBL Cup Quarter-Finals, it was sweet revenge for Tony Garbelotto and his side.

Leading Scorers - Parrish 18, Kahn 16, Beamon 15 (Wolves); Achara 17, Fraser 15, Brown/Billups 12 (Rocks)

Turning point - When George Beamon dropped a three-pointer for Wolves to make it 45-36 in the third period, things looked tricky for Rocks. But, the visitors came alive and erupted for 23 points in the remainder of the quarter to flip the game on its head as they sunk a flurry of scores from long-range.

Key stat - Rocks managed to convert 10 triples from 20 attempts and that was a difference-maker.

Game hero(es) - Kieron Achara produced a classy and highly efficient 17 points, while Earl Brown Jnr had an all-action ad impressive 12 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists.
