Watson fires Raiders to first victory as they survive Force test.

Plymouth Raiders 98-78 Leeds Force (25-21, 47-42, 72-69)

Plymouth Raiders bounced back from their opening defeat last week with a strong finish to defeat Leeds Force.

The home side trailed by as many as nine points, but produced an emphatic final 10 minutes to get up and running and inflict a third loss on Leeds.

Leading Scorers - Watson 38, Mays 22, Penn 17 (Raiders) - Nix 19, Bankevics 18, Nzege 14 (Force)

Turning Point – Force stayed in contention going into half-time and stormed into a nine-point lead at 56-65 in the third before Watson responded with 14 straight points to push Plymouth back ahead and they pulled clear with a 26-9 final period.

Key Stat – Leeds struggled for consistency from downtown, going 8-of-33, while Watson fired in 9 from 13 attempts from deep and the Raiders dominated on the boards, 44-31.

Game Hero(es) – Neil Watson finished with a BBL season-high of 38 points along with six rebounds and five assists, while Greg Mays added a double-double with 22 points on 9-10 shooting with 10 rebounds.
