Leicester Riders 79-59 Bristol Flyers (16-19, 42-29, 67-41)

Leicester Riders entertained their home fans as they made it two wins from two with a comfortable victory against Bristol Flyers.

The defending champions recovered from a slow start as the defence took over to set the platform for a 20-point success.

Leading Scorers - Hampton/Holder 17, Robertson 11 (Riders) - Weary/Boggs 13, Davis 11 (Flyers)

Turning Point –Bristol led by three after 10 minutes, but back-to-back triples from Kiefer Douse as part of a 10-0 start to the second swung the momentum. Riders held their opponents to just 22 points over the next 20 minutes to take control.

Key Stat – While Jordan Davis hit 3-of-4 from deep, the Flyers struggled to find their range as a team, going 4-17 for 23%

Game Hero – Pierre Hampton impressed particularly in the first half with 15 points, five rebounds and three assists in a key contribution from last season's Play-Off Final MVP.

Box score.
